Wonderful donation from my elderly neighbour (80+yrs young) today for our Yr 8 students in Home Economics… she worked for years at Myers in the fabric and lace dept on Rundle Street (well before it was a Mall).
Her cupboards and cupboards of sewing ‘stuff’ takes her back to being a kid – and being mesmerised at my Nan’s sewing things in tins and containers
